Inspired by the Flavors of Spain and the Mediterranean

A Rare & Special Champagne Tasting

  Saturday, July 22th | 1pm to 3pm
La Boca Taberna | $65 plus tax (gratuity not included)

This special wine event will focus on a small percentage of organic and bio-dynamic champagnes made by those who grow the grapes (i.e. Champagne growers that reflect a small group of men and woman that are DIY in a world that is dominated by conglomerates like Vouve Cliqout, Krug, Dom Perignon)

Dan George from Synergy Fine Wines will be leading this event and he is a champagne specialist! Great food pairings and great Champagne. We will also be pouring champagne out of a magnum, something no one does either. .....Here are some of the houses and wines we will be showcasing.

2009 Hubert Soureau, Clos l'Abbe, Blanc de Blanc

Pierre Peters, Blanc de Blanc, Grand Cru, Brut NV

Pierre Gimonnet, Blanc de Blanc, Premier Cru, Brut NV

OUtstanding in the field - Green Tractor Farm

 Wednesday, October 18th
La Cienega | $235 per person

Host Farmers: Ned Conwell & Rachel Dixon, Green Tractor Farm, La Cienega, NM (Santa Fe Area)
Guest Chefs: David Sellers, Street Food Institute, Albuquerque, NM | James Campbell Caruso, La Boca, Santa Fe, NM

We’re finally returning to New Mexico, “The Land of Enchantment.” The table will be set in the high desert terrain of tiny Green Tractor Farm, on five acres just outside Santa Fe. A feast of Southwestern flavors will be prepared by a duo of chefs with a strong relationship and a penchant for strong flavors. David represents the Street Food Institute; he cooked a great meal for us the first time OITF visited New Mexico. James’ restaurant La Boca is an eight-time James Beard award nominee. We’re excited to see what these two drum up together in our outdoor kitchen.
